The clients wanted to create an open plan living area by moving the kitchen to the property's rear. We undertook significant structural work to remove the house's back wall and added a modern flat roof extension. This incorporated aluminium bifold doors and a roof lantern, to bring a light and airy feel to the house. We also added a cloakroom under the stairs and converted the old kitchen into a snug.
